PLANNED GIVING

  • A sustained multi-year effort that allows for giving through a variety of vehicles outlined further at https://hockaday.planmygift.org/ (e.g. through a will, trust, life insurance, or retirement plan)
  • Funding priorities include the endowment and planned giving designated to the greatest needs of the School or the areas of the School that match the interests of the donor
  • Provides a bridge to the future for the School

ENDOWMENT GIFTS

  • A sustained multi-year effort that began in the 1960s
  • Funding priorities include general endowment, financial aid, and faculty support
  • Endowment ensures the long-term growth and financial security of the School
  • The Investment Committee of the Board of directors works to preserve the purchasing power of the endowment, while also providing a sustainable and predictable flow of funds directly to the annual operating budget.
